Every family grieves differently. Peer support, bereavement counseling, and follow-up with a trusted clinician can all help.

  • Consider asking for a follow-up visit focused on review of records, recurrence risk, and planning for future pregnancies.
  • Offer grief support early, including partner and family support where available.
  • Escalate urgently for safety concerns, severe depression, or inability to care for self.
