Maternl© is a pregnancy helper and companion. It gives answers and responses about pregnancy, babies, and child health. The information comes from trusted and respected medical sources, journals, institutions and organizations.

Portions of Maternl use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to share general, evidence-based information about pregnancy, prenatal care, post partum(after birth) and baby health. AI also helps you find and be introduced to nearby clinics using maps and search tools. Maternl© is for learning and information, comfort and support, only. Please keep these points in mind:

• Maternl is not to be used for medical advice.
• The information and responses are general and may not fit your personal health needs.
• Maternl does not collect any of your personal data including personal health data and does not replace advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a doctor.
• You may ask about a symptom you may be feeling or havng but the response will be educational and general. There is no dialog between the program and the user and it is not a substitute for a clincian-patient conversation.
• No doctor-patient relationship.
• Using this tool does not make you a patient or create a medical relationship.
• Talk to your provider. Always ask your OB/GYN, midwife, pediatrician, or another qualified provider if you have questions about your health or your baby.
• There are defined limits to AI. The information may sometimes be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Always double-check important details with your provider.
• Emergencies. If you think you or your baby has a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away. For mental health help, call or text 988.
• Privacy. Maternl never asks for or shares personal or sensitive health information.
